GPU Support Options

DaDesktop provides two main ways to leverage GPU acceleration:

  1. Physical GPU passthrough (available only in certain data centres across Brazil). This option gives you full hardware acceleration because it's tapping into a real graphics card.
  2. GPU emulation with LLVM Pipe. This works smoothly on all our Linux distributions, like Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04. However, it currently isn't supported on Windows 10.

If you're not sure whether your application requires a GPU—Blender, for example, does—you might come across a message like this:

"A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required. Installing the latest driver for your graphics card might resolve the issue."
