Roadmap

DaDesktop training roadmap

  1. Training materials organization - Improved integration with trainer materials, user notes, slide decks, and more.
  2. Auto Upscaling Desktop - When a participant's or trainer's desktop runs low on resources, extra CPU, RAM, or disk should be added automatically, keeping the desktop running smoothly.
  3. Real time subtitles with translations - For instance, an English-speaking trainer can reach Japanese participants, who can read real-time Japanese subtitles as they appear (available to customers who have opted into "Preview features").
  4. Real time interpretation with AI - Japanese participants can listen to real-time, AI-driven interpretation even though the trainer is using English.
  5. Participant assistant -  During labs, the system guides participants by suggesting the next move or instantly alerting them when an exercise is done incorrectly—giving fast feedback when they get stuck. Also known as the Participant Assistant Agent (available in Preview features).
  6. Statistics - Course coordinators and stakeholders can view participant engagement and participation data.

DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)

  1. Public Cloud - Open up DaDesktop for Work beyond private deployments by offering it as a public cloud service accessible to all.
  2. Better encryption integration - Tighten encryption integration: currently handled only by the operating system, a DaDesktop GUI would make the process seamless—for example, users wouldn’t need to enter a password because the system already knows who they are.
  3. Auto-switch Remote replica - The system will automatically detect or create the nearest remote replica to reduce lag and improve the user experience.

DaDesktop Labs/Self-study

  1. Provide participants with real-time feedback on their lab progress.
  2. Creator studio - Lab creators can effortlessly edit recordings online and synchronize them with lab instructions, desktop templates, and other resources (now in Beta).
