Pricing

DaDesktop offers four flexible payment options:

1. Public cloud (starting at 3 EUR per day)
2. Private server (starting at 10 EUR per day)
3. Reseller or volume purchasing (starting at 0.1 EUR per day)
4. On premise
    

Public Cloud

Desktops are billed on a daily basis, beginning at 3 EUR per day for a standard Linux desktop equipped with 8GB of RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 50GB of SSD storage.

Each additional block of 8GB RAM, 8 CPU cores, and 50GB storage adds another 3 EUR to the daily rate.

Windows machines carry an extra charge of 1 EUR daily. This fee is waived if you supply your own license.

NB Daily billing is calculated within a 24-hour window starting at midnight, according to the local server time.

 

Private Server

For those who prefer consistent costs regardless of the number of desktops or resources allocated per desktop, you can opt to purchase an entire server.

This option limits you only by the server's available resources, not by unit count or desktop quantity. Please contact us for more detail.

 

Reseller or volume discounts

Discounts of up to 80% are available for reseller and volume purchases.

This option is typically suited for companies planning to:

1. Integrate DaDesktop with your product
2. Resell it
3. Purchase in high volumes 
    

On-premise

The standard rate for on-premise deployment is 6 EUR per core.

Case 1

An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 8 hours within a single day. 

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 2

An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for a few hours each day over 5 days. 

Total price: 5 days * 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Case 3

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. A new desktop with the same configuration is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 4

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu standalone desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. A different desktop with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

2 machines are used, each with a different configuration:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

Case 5

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu course desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. A different desktop used by the same participant or trainer with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

 

Courses

For Public Cloud and Reseller options, courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on the users who created desktops during the course period.

Trainers

• If a Trainer is invited to a course, the Organization Owner is billed for it.
• If the Trainer creates the course, the Trainer receives the bill.

• In short, the Organization Owner of the course that was created is responsible for the course billing.
