Purpose

The remote desktops provided are meant strictly for running courses, conducting consultancy work, or managing recruitment.

Non-permitted use

The following uses are not allowed:

  1. Hosting websites or any other services
  2. Bitcoin mining
  3. Conducting performance testing

Should our team notice any such activity, the service will be shut down immediately without a refund.

 

Guarantee and Service Layer Agreement

DaDesktop commits to keeping the service available 95% of the time.

We carry out maintenance, repairs, and upgrades outside regular business hours – from 8 am to 8 pm local time (the time zone in which the server is physically located).

 

Data Safety and Confidentiality

The service is provided on an as-is basis, and DaDesktop cannot assure the confidentiality or security of any data transferred to the desktops. If you require such guarantees, you might want to explore using DaDesktop On-Premise.

Given that these desktops are designed primarily for training, they're not suited for handling highly sensitive information.

The login process for remote desktops is built with ease of use in mind, rather than maximum security.

Troubleshooting Recording

For debugging purposes, we may record sessions on course desktops (this includes Fresh-start, Trainer, and Participant instances).

DaDesktop OFFERS THE SERVICES ON AN 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' BASIS, ALONG WITH ANY FAULTS. NEITHER WE NOR OUR SUPPLIERS MAKE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES ABOUT THE SERVICES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE RESULTS FROM USING THE SERVICES WILL BE EFFECTIVE, RELIABLE, ACCURATE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS. WE ALSO CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU'LL BE ABLE TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES (WHETHER DIRECTLY OR THROUGH THIRD-PARTY NETWORKS) AT THE TIMES OR IN THE LOCATIONS YOU PREFER. NO STATEMENT BY ANY DaDesktop REPRESENTATIVE, WHETHER SPOKEN OR WRITTEN, CREATES A WARRANTY. UNDER LOCAL LAWS, YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT THIS AGREEMENT DOES NOT AFFECT. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

THE ONLY REMEDY YOU HAVE IN CASE OF A DISPUTE WITH US OR OUR SUPPLIERS IS TO CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT. THE TOTAL COMBINED LIABILITY OF DADESKTOP, ITS AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL NEVER SURPASS THE AMOUNT OF FEES YOU ACTUALLY PAID, IF ANY, DURING THE PERIOD IN WHICH THE CLAIMS OCCURRED. NEITHER WE, OUR AFFILIATES, NOR OUR SUPPLIERS WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.
